Introduction of the fixed-term appointment system
It is especially important to have diverse human resources in order to implement advanced, interdisciplinary and comprehensive research and education at the university. A fixed-term appointment system for faculty members was introduced in June, 1998. Vitalization of research and education is being promoted by enhancing the mobility of the faculty.
