Global COE Research Group

Under the Global COE program, we have hired two associate professors,two assistant professors and a technical assistant to move our research projects forward into new fields.

	Developmental Morphology Research Group		Our reseach forcus is on the molecular mechanisms that regulate the activity of the shoot apical meristem, a central tissue for plant organ formation.

	Plant Reproductive Genetics Research Group		The goal of our lab is to understand how maternal and paternal genomes contribute to reproductive processes, such as endosperm development and reproductive barrier, using rice and Arabidopsis plants.
