Overview
In December 2009, the Center for International Relations (CIR) was established to oversee the globalization of NAIST research and education.

Representatives of NAIST graduate schools, administrative offices, and Industry-Government-Academia Collaboration Group join the CIR to coordinate international activities under the supervision of the Executive Director of International Exchange.

The CIR plans and conducts a variety of international programs and events—including faculty development programs, staff development programs, and an International Exchange Day event—to promote cooperation with overseas institutions, all the while creating strategies to increase international student enrollment.
