DGE Director Sachi Ando visited A*STAR Graduate Academy in Singapore on August 26, 2016. Director Ando first extended gratitude to Prof. Alfred Huan (A*GA Executive Director), who delivered a special lecture at the 2nd Top Global University Project Symposium at NAIST in March 2016. At the meeting, Prof. Huan, Ms. CHIN Koh Shing (A*GA Assistant Head), and Ms. GAN Wei Lin (A*GA Assistant Head of Planning, Promotion & Youth Science) introduced A*STAR’s perspectives on research and innovation, as well as on human capacity building, including abundant opportunities for both domestic and international young researchers. In the future, research collaboration between NAIST faculty members and A*STAR researchers may make it possible for our students to conduct short-term research in Singapore and to build their career in advanced science and technology.
