A resident card will be issued to mid-to long-term residents when granted permission pertaining to residence, such as landing permission, permission for change of resident status and permission for extension of the period of stay. This resident card serves as your ID card, so please carry it with you at all times.

The resident card you received at the airport does not have your residential address indicated. Within 14 days of finding a place to stay, you are asked to visit the city hall to register your residential address.( For your family's registration, a document verifying a family relationship is required)
