Admission Requirements
- Those who have been awarded a master's degree or a professional degree (described in the MEXT oridinance).
- Those who will be awarded a master's degree or a professional degree by March 31, 2007.
- Those who have been awarded the equivalent of a master's degree or a professional degree in a foreign country.
- Those who will be awarded the equivalent of a master's degree or a professional degree in a foreign country by March 31, 2007.
- Those who have been awarded the equivalent of a master's degree or a professional degree by taking a foreign university's correspondence course in Japan.
- Those who will be awarded the equivalent of a master's degree or a professional degree by taking a foreign university's correspondence course in Japan by March 31, 2007.
- Those who have completed their course and been awarded the equivalent of a master's degree at a foreign educational institute in Japan, which is authorized by the educational system of the foreign country and specified separately by the Minister of MEXT.
- Those who will complete their course and will be awarded the equivalent of a master's degree by March 31, 2007 at a foreign educational institute in Japan, which is authorized by the educational system of the foreign country and specified separately by Minister of MEXT.
- Those who have been designated by the Minister of Education. (Ministry of Education Directive No. 118 for 1989)
- Those who are recognized by NAIST through Preliminary Examination of Suitability to have academic ability equivalent to those who have master's degree or a professional degree, and who will be 24 years of age by March 31, 2007.
