In order to continue this partnership and possibly expand it to encompass all three graduate schools, CIR director Noriko Ito, representatives from GSIS and GSMS, and a group of students visited Kasetsart University’s laboratories, held discussions concerning further cooperation and participated in a student-focused Seminar at the Faculty of Engineering.(50-60 participants). Prof. Masao Ohira, Akinori Ihara, Papon Yongpisanpop, Passakorn Phannachitta, Prof. Jun Ohta, Prof. Masakazu Nakamura, and Yosmongkol Sawadsaring
  • At Chulalongkorn University
At present, the Graduate School of Materials Science collaborates with Chulakongkorn University's Department of Electrical Engineering on research and education. With this current relationship as a base, NAIST is looking to expand this collaboration to include other areas of the Faculty of Engineering. CIR director Noriko Ito, and faculty and students from GSIS and GSMS visited Chulakongkorn University to investigate the possibility of this expansion and also participated in a joint symposium, followed by laboratory visits.
