With the establishment of the agreement on the "Erasumus + ICM Program" between Trento University (Italy) and NAIST, we are looking for nominees for study abroad for either coursework or research work at Trento University.

Program duration September, 2019 ~ July 31, 2023
・Program duration may be subject to change due to COVID-19
Eligibility ● Master's and Doctoral students of NAIST who belongs to graduate school of science and technology
● Sufficient Italian or English language ability (CEFR A2 for Italian and B2 for English) must be possessed
 Note: MEXT scholars or scholars with other private foundation may not be allowed to participate in this program due to the scholarship rules and regulations. Please check your status and related rules in advance.

※1:Applicants who wish to stay more than 5 months will be prioritized to be selected.
●Study abroad for course work:
・Fall semester AY2021/2022 (September, 2021- January, 2022)

Financial support ● Monthly stipend: €850/month(Up to 5.5 months)

Application process 1. If you wish to apply, please consult with your supervisor in advance and contact the Division for Global Education (DGE)
※ Screening will be performed in case of multiple applicants.
2. DGE will nominate the candidates and send a list of nominees to UniTrento. Proceed the application process after UniTrento contacts the nominees.

Deadline for application ●Study abroad for course work:May 6th, 2021
●Study abroad for research:June 1st, 2021
After mobility: recognition and credit transfer for mobile students The participants will be required to complete the following tasks after participating this program
1. Participants' course work (exam results) or research carried out at UniTrento must be recognized by NAIST to promote international credit mobility as counting towards the degree. The participants must take process for transferring or earning credits at NAIST within 2 months after their return.
2. Dissemination activities for Erasmus+ program
・Report on achievements during the program participation such as course work, research, experiences etc. in UniTrento, write article for website
・Presentation in on-campus study abroad fair, etc.
3. Respond to EU and UniTrento surveys
4. Any other tasks that the participants will be required given by EU, UniTrento and NAIST
