Double degree programs

With globalization in many industry and societal activities rapidly developing, leaders are being sought who will guide international collaborative research which collects the necessary human resources and technological advancements to tackle the important issues facing entire mankind, regardless country and region. Double degree programs are established in order to develop these leaders through an organized focusing on 'international collaborative research ability' and 'Global cooperative skills.'
In double degree programs students are enrolled at both participating institutions at the same time, receiving research guidance from both institutions' faculty, and receive approval for their degrees from both institutions. Currently NAIST offers double degree programs in the doctoral course with 7 partner institutions.
