NAIST Tea Time #18
Obon Dance Event
For this summer Tea Time, we will introduce and try doing the Bon Dance, a traditional dance performed during the Bon Festival in August. We invited the Ikoma Society for Promotion of Kawachi Ondo to talk about and teach the Dance. After practicing this, we will serve tokoroten (a Jelly often served in summer) and tea. Anyone can join and we encourage people to wear Yukata or other traditional outfits to the event. Please join us to learn more about summer in Japan!!.
We look forward to any faculty, staff or students, and their friends and families joining us!!
