Event for junior high and high school girls: Exchange with female graduate students and female faculty members

Why did you go on to graduate school? What are you researching, and what is your daily life like?

After listening to talks from female graduate students in the three fields; information science, biosciences, and materials science at NAIST, there will be an opportunity for exchange (with tea and sweets). Female faculty members from NAIST will also participate. Parents are also welcome to attend.

NAIST Lab Stay 2024 for Female High School Students in Nara

Let’s experience daily life in the lab!

DAY
3 days from 8/1 to 8/10, 2024.
The schedule may be irregular. The approximate duration of the practical training is 9:30-17:00, but the start and end times may be different or the duration may be shorter.
Target
Female and non-binary high school and KOSEN students (1st to 3rd year) in Nara Prefecture.
Acceptance
1-2 students each in the Information Science, Bioscience, and Materials Science fields. The program may be held jointly with participants from SSH schools in Nara Prefecture.
The students will be accepted by the following laboratories.
