NAIST has conventionally offered curriculum that enables students to obtain degrees solely using English. In addition, we promote initiatives for improving students' English skills, such as offering English language education taught by foreign instructors.
In planning the master's course curriculum for 2020, NAIST has decided that all Introduction Subjects, Basic Subjects and Specialized Subjects taught by the Division of Information Science faculty will be offered only in English.
The subjects taught by both the Division of Biological Science and Division of Materials Science faculty will continue to be conducted in Japanese and in English for international students.
