International Friendly Meeting for Fiscal 2009 (January 14, 2010)

International Friendly Meeting was held at Millennium Hall of NAIST on Thursday, January 14. This meeting is an annual event which started in fiscal 1995 in order to promote an interaction between president and faculty members, international students and researchers, tutors, and staff members from several international exchange foundations. This year as many as 152 people participated including families of international students and researchers.

President Akira Isogai delivered opening remarks at the beginning of the meeting which was followed with a traditional Mongolian dance by Chinese student, a singing performance by a group of Filipino students, and a bingo game.
The participants had pleasant conversation with each other and had a great time all through the meeting in a friendly atmosphere.
International students especially treasured this opportunity to deepen a relationship with people from within and outside.
