Academic Exchange Agreement with the Macromolecular Science and Engineering Center, College of Engineering, University of Michigan, USA (November 4, 2011)

On November 4th, Professor Richard M. Laine, (Director, Macromolecular Science and Engineering Center, College of Engineering, University of Michigan) and Assistant Professor Kenichi Kuroda (University of Michigan School of Dentistry) visited NAIST for a signing ceremony of an academic exchange agreement with the Graduate School of Material Science, NAIST.

Professor Kuroda has facilitated academic exchanges, such as joint faculty research and acceptance of NAIST students to his laboratories. To extend the exchange activities further, NAIST decided to establish this agreement. The professors also made a courtesy visit to Shinji Murai and Atsuhiko Sinmyo, the Vice Presidents of NAIST before the ceremony.

On the day of the ceremony, Professor Laine introduced the Center and Professor Kuroda gave a lecture on his research. The audience listened attentively to their presentations and the ceremony ended as a great success.
