2023 NAIST Spring Entrance Ceremony (April 5, 2023)

 On Wednesday, April 5, the 2023 Spring Entrance Ceremony was held in the Millennium Hall.

 NAIST eagerly promotes admission of students both from Japan and overseas who have strong basic academic skills regardless of their undergraduate background as well as researchers, engineers and others currently working actively in society who have clearly defined goals and aspirations for the future as well as a strong interest and enthusiasm for the fields of frontier science and technology. This spring 421 graduate students were granted admission to NAIST.

 At the ceremony, President SHIOZAKI Kazuhiro gave congratulatory speeches, and the congratulatory messages from the governor of Nara prefecture, Mr. KOMURASAKI Masashi, the mayor of Ikoma City were given to new students.

 At the end of the ceremony, a kyogen performance was played by the Ookura Ryuu which attracted all the attendees.
