On July 5, 2010, with the support of Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) and Keihanna Science City Promotion Organization (Keihanna Science City), female researchers in Keihanna Science City gathered to establish the "Keihanna Women Researchers Network" and a management committee.
The Keihanna Network for Women Researchers aims to provide an opportunity for women researchers (including engineers) scattered among research institutes and companies in Keihanna Science City to interact with each other for the purpose of exchanging information, emotional support and role models, and to create a useful network for "work-life balance".
Currently, there are 38 participating institutions and companies and 87 participants in the Keihanna Women Researchers Network. (As of February 1, 2024).
The Keihanna Female Researchers Network will offer two types of exchanges: virtual exchanges (Keihanna SNS) and real exchanges. Female researchers working or living in Keihanna and female researchers who have worked or studied in Keihanna are also welcome to join.
Please join us and invite other researchers you know.
