Although I share some of the responsibility for getting the children to and from the daycare center, my wife does most of the childcare. When my wife has to take care of her children on weekends, I take care of them during that time, but this is not possible during the open campus. I can bring my child to the university without much trouble, and fortunately there is no charge for temporary childcare during the open campus, so I can take advantage of this service. I believe that bringing my child to the office gives me a chance to meet Dr. Nakamura and the students.
I am grateful for the temporary childcare service because the number of children in my care is not so large, and I feel that I am being taken care of a lot. The pick-up and drop-off times are the same for other parents, so I have met teachers I know, such as Mr. Hata (Software Engineering), Mr. Miyao (Data-driven Chemistry), and Mr. Suzuki (Intelligent Communication). I think everyone is making good use of it.
