Receiving Start-up Research Funds for Women Researchers

With this grant, we were able to establish our lab and invite external faculty for collaborative research meetings and seminars a total of four times. As a result, we published three papers and were able to obtain new external funding to further develop our research topic. It might be easier to use the research funds if they were available for a maximum of two years instead of being separated by one year.
