On January 11, 2017, President Jacques Biot, delegates from École Polytechnique (France) and Counsellor Jacques Maleval from the Embassy of France in Japan visited NAIST.
At the courtesy visit to NAIST, President Naotake Ogasawara, Vice-President/Executive Director Naokazu Yokoya, Associate Professor of the Institute for Research Initiatives Masato Miyake, and Division for Global Education Director Tsutomu Hashida welcomed President Biot and the delegates and introduced NAIST. They also shared information on further collaborations in education and research.
After the official visit, the delegates visited the Graduate School of Information Science (GSIS) and were given an introduction to GSIS and had a tour of the Robotics Laboratory.
Then they visited the Graduate School of Materials Science (GSMS) and received an introduction of GSMS and the Project for International Collaborative Laboratory. Finally the delegates visited the Photofunctional Organic Chemistry Laboratory.
