The Center for International Students and Scholars (CISS) hosted Lunch-time Language-Exchange Event in the Special Conference Room on the second floor of the University Union. The event brought together both Japanese and international students, as well as faculty and staff, creating an open and welcoming space for cultural and language exchange.
Approximately 25 participants joined the event. Participants sat around tables in small groups and freely communicated in both Japanese and English. Some attended to improve their English skills, others came to practice Japanese, and many attended simply to meet new people and enjoy a relaxed lunchtime activity.
The atmosphere throughout the event was warm and friendly, with many enjoyable conversations taking place across languages and cultures. It provided a valuable opportunity for participants to connect outside the classroom and experience language learning in a natural setting.
CISS will host this event on the last Wednesday of each month. The next event will be held on Wednesday, June 24. Bring your friends and join us for a fun time together!
