"Understanding Gender Broadens Science!" (4 sessions)

The Center for Digital Green-innovation (CDG) and the Gender Equality Office of Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) will hold a seminar series titled "Understanding Gender Broadens Science!" This seminar series is supervised by Dr. Kana Takamatsu of International Christian University. Through the series, we hope that you will consider the relationship between gender issues and science and technology, the "gendered innovation" currently being promoted around the globe, and what kind of actions are required in society today. We hope that those who may have thought things like "Gender issues are important, but I wonder if they have much to do with my own research" will join us. We hope that you will participate in these seminars and use the information you gain to think about gender issues in relation to your research, thereby expanding your activities. We look forward to your participation.
