International Friendship Meeting (January 11, 2012)


International Friendship Meeting was held at Millennium Hall of NAIST on Wednesday, January 11.
This meeting is an annual event which started in fiscal 1995 to promote an interaction between president and faculty members, international students and researchers, tutors, and guests from several international exchange foundations. 235 people in total participated in the meeting this year.

President Akira Isogai delivered opening remarks at the beginning of the meeting, followed by music performances and traditional martial arts performance by a Paraguayan student and a group of Indonesian students, and a bingo game.
The participants had pleasant conversation with each other and had a great time all through the meeting in a friendly atmosphere. International students especially treasured this opportunity to deepen a relationship with people from within and outside.
