NAIST International Friendship Meeting was held at Millennium Hall on Friday, January 9.

This meeting is an annual event which started in 1995 to promote an interaction between international students, foreign researchers, board members, faculty and staff, Japanese students and guests from several international exchange organizations. 243 people in total participated in the meeting this year.

After President Naotake Ogasawara made the opening remarks, all the participants who have different nationalities and different backgrounds mingled and had pleasant conversations with each other. They also enjoyed lively performances by Filipino students, groups of Indonesian students, Ivorian students, and other multinational students as well as bingo game. The meeting was hugely successful as various groups of people got together and developed good relationships.
