Consulate-General of France in Kyoto visited NAIST (February 26, 2015)

On Thursday, February 26th, Brosseau Charles-Henri Consul General from Consulate-General of France in Kyoto visited NAIST.

The purpose of the visit was to learn and understand about current exchange activities between French institutions and NAIST.

During his courtesy visit to NAIST, President Naotake Ogasawara, Vice President/Executive Director Mikio Kataoka, and Director of the Center for International Relations Tsutomu Hashida welcomed Brosseau Consul General, and they shared information and exchanged opinions concerning further exchanges and activities.

Following the courtesy call, Brosseau Consul General visited the Graduate School of Materials Science and Professor Tsuyoshi Kawai introduced his laboratory and research, after which a doctoral course student, Shunshuke Iijima, talked about his experiences as a visiting researcher in France for two months.

This occasion was a beneficial opportunity to strengthen ties and encourage future cooperation between France and NAIST.
