Nara National Park tour

 Nara National Park tour was held on November 27, 2022 and 15 students (including 11 international students) joined the tour. This tour was held to give students an opportunity to broaden their knowledge of Japanese history and culture.

 Participants were divided into 3 groups and they walked around Nara National Park in the deepening autumn interacting with students from the other laboratory and different nationality or region.

 First, they visited Gango-ji temple, which is famous for "ONI(demon)" and enjoyed a game to find five demon stone statues in the temple. And then, they visited Ukimi-do. They were extremely impressed with the splendid scene water surface is reflecting the Ukimi-do and autumn color of leaves like mirror.

 After that, at the Daibutsu-den in Todai-ji Temple, where the participants were listening attentively to the information of deep Japanese history and culture offered from the tour guide with being surprised at big scale of Great Buddha statue.

 The students enjoyed the day exploring culture and history in Nara and commented that "It was very informative tour which makes me understand more about the history and concept behind the building by helpful tour guide.", "I enjoyed a lot Nara Park and the beautiful scenery." and "It was good opportunity to interact with international students.".
