On Monday, September 22, a delegation from RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, headed by Dr. Eva WALLER (President), visited our university.
At the courtesy visit, Dr. SHIOZAKI Kazuhiro (President), Dr. OHTA Jun (Executive Director/Vice President), Prof. KAMIKUBO Hironari (Director, Division of Materials Science), Prof. MATSUSHITA Tomohiro (Division of Materials Science) welcomed the delegation.
In the opening address, Dr. SHIOZAKI shared his outlook that the long-standing and active collaboration between the two institutions would hopefully grow into an even more enduring and multifaceted partnership in the future.
Following that, Dr. WALLER introduced their initiatives to promote international exchange and expressed their hope to discuss the potential opportunities for future collaboration.
After introductions from both sides, we engaged in a lively discussion about potential future collaborations.
The delegation then toured laboratories specializing in Materials Science and discussed the possibility of various exchanges with NAIST faculty members.
This visit will contribute to further promoting active exchanges between the two institutions in the near future.
