The lunch-time Language Exchange Event was held by the Center for International Students and Scholars (CISS) on September 30 in the Special Conference Room on the second floor of the University Hall.
The theme of this event was Kendama. Participants enjoyed learning and practicing Kendama together, and two Japanese students impressive Kendama skills wowed everyone by demonstrating a variety of tricks. The event provided a relaxed atmosphere where students could interact, share experiences, and build new connections.
Participants were also asked about how they spent their summer. Many shared that they had been busy with experiments, research, and internships making for an interesting conversation.
The theme for October will be Kendama Part 2. There will also be a Kendama Challenge at the Autumn Festival on October 16, so we hope you'll join and show us some of the tricks you've learned!
