"Kurumin" Certification by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (for Campus Use)

Kurumin certification mark The "Kurumin" certification is granted by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare as a "child-rearing support company" when a company meets certain requirements, such as formulating an action plan based on the Act on the Promotion of Measures to Support the Raising of Next-Generation Children and achieving the goals set forth in the action plan. The university received this certification (the first) on October 21, 2020.

■Advantages of Kurumin Certification
Additional points are given as evaluation items in the selection screening of some R&D projects by the government and other organizations.

For example, NEDO and NICT have stated in their guidelines for publicly solicited proposals for contract research that they will also consider whether the applicant's organization is a "company that promotes work-life balance, etc.," and that they will make decisions regarding contractors after considering whether they have obtained the Eruboshi, Kurumin, Platinum Kurumin, and Youth Yell certifications.
