General Screening

*NOTE
Foreign national students taking the general entrance exam must complete the procedures via the "Pre-application System" by the deadline stated on the "About Pre-application" page before proceed with the Main Application.

Screening of International Students by Special Recommendation

Students graduating (including those already graduated) from international partner institutions with which NAIST has concluded academic exchange agreements for exchange programs are eligible to apply through the Screening of International Students by Special Recommendation.

Internship Program (Short-term Exchange)

Special Research Student (for current in Master's od Doctoral)

Brief Summary of Process

  1. Contact the faculty member in the laboratory where you wish to receive research guidance and obtain their prior consent.
  2. Make your own account and fill out required items on Pre-application System.
  3. After screening of Pre-application, you can receive the guidance from NAIST's staff by email for Main-application.

Students from international partner institutions with which NAIST has concluded academic exchange agreements for exchange programs are eligible to obtain the exemption of tuition fee. (There is an annual limit available on the number of students)

Undergraduate Research Student
