7. Qualifications

  1. A person who has a PhD degree or expects to obtain one by the day of the appointment.
  2. A person who has achievement and experience in research (or practice) in microbiology, molecular biology, and closely related fields using microorganisms involved in food fermentation, such as yeast, lactic acid bacteria, and koji fungi, and will be enthusiastic about developing research and teaching.
  3. A person who is willing to work with Associate Professor Daisuke Watanabe and the other professors of the Division of Biological Science, educate graduate students, including international students, and promote cutting-edge scientific researches.

8. Employment conditions

  1. Workdays: Monday through Friday
  2. Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, the end/beginning of the year and the anniversary of the founding of NAIST (October 1st)
  3. Discretionary labor system for professional work

Annual Salary Scheme (determined in accordance with NAIST Salary Regulations.)

Commuting and housing allowances, etc. provided in accordance with NAIST Salary Regulations.
