Photofunctional Organic Chemistry

7. Qualifications

  1. PhD.
  2. Having deep knowledge and outstanding achievements in materials science especially to develop photofunctional organic chemistry based on functional organic chemistry and organic electronics materials, and enthusiasm to teach these science and skills to students.
  3. Enthusiasm to promote advanced and interdisciplinary studies for organic semiconducting materials and photofunctional organic materials, which are based on general skills in organic synthetic chemistry and organic photochemistry. Experience in making and evaluating organic electronic devices is preferred.
  4. Enthusiasm to promote the education and research of students in collaboration with Prof. Hiroko YAMADA who is a head of the Photofunctional Organic Chemistry Laboratory.
  5. Attainment of an academic degree from a foreign university and/or work experience in foreign research institutes (universities) are preferred.
  6. Japanese language skills sufficient for general discussion and paperwork.

8. Employment conditions

  1. Workdays: Monday through Friday
  2. Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, the end/beginning of the year and the anniversary of the founding of NAIST (October 1st)
  3. Working hours are left to the professor's discretion

9. Remuneration

Calculated in accordance with the salary payment regulations of NAIST
