2011/01/21

International Friendship Meeting was held at Millennium Hall of NAIST on Thursday, January 13.
This meeting is an annual event which started in fiscal 1995 to promote an interaction between president and faculty members, international students and researchers, tutors, and staff members from several international exchange foundations. One hundred eighty-six people participated in the meeting this year including families of international students and researchers.

President Akira Isogai delivered opening remarks at the beginning of the meeting, followed by a traditional dance by Laotian student, a sing and dance performance by a group of international students, and a bingo game.
The participants had pleasant conversation with each other and had a great time all through the meeting in a friendly atmosphere. International students especially treasured this opportunity to deepen a relationship with people from within and outside.
