"Keys to Create University-Launched Innovation ~People, Habitat, Stage and Vision~" (December 10, 2012)

The international venture symposium was held on December 10, 2012 at the Millennium Hall, organized by the Division for Industry-Government-Academia Collaboration.

The fifth and final symposium of the annual International Venture Symposium was a part of a program by the Promotion of Industry-Academic-Government Cooperation, MEXT, to produce "Human resources that aspire innovation and related qualities," Also we discussed how to create and what can be done for "the University environment and the Japanese society to provide the setting for producing human resources".
The symposium ended successfully with 110 participants including students, faculty and staff on campus.
 
The assistant manager, Yuzo Ishida from the Office of University Technology Transfer at the University-Industry Collaboration Division of Science and Technology Policy Bureau, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology opened the symposium with a few remarks.
The first keynote speaker, Mr. Allen Miner Chairman of the Board of Sun Bridge Corporation spoke on " Innovation and Entrepreneurship... Myths and Realities". Mr. Toshiyuki Inoko, a representative of the Ultra Technologists' team "Team Lab" described and displayed their beautiful art works entitled "Culture Throughout History, Nonverbally, and Unconsciously, Continues to Give Birth to New Things".

The CEO of RaQualia Pharma Inc., Mr. Naoki Tani joined the panel discussion along with other speakers. The panel discussion was very active and many questions were continued to be received from participants following the symposium.
