A residence card will be issued to mid-to long-term residents when granted permission pertaining to residence, such as landing permission, permission for change of resident status and permission for extension of the period of stay. This residence card serves as your ID card, so please carry it with you at all times.

Register your residential address on the card at city hall within 14 days of deciding your residence. (Please bring your passport at that time. Documents verifying family relationships are required for family registration.)
