7. Qualifications

  1. Female
  2. A person who has a PhD degree or expects to obtain one by the day of the appointment.
  3. A person who has an outstanding research record in the field of plant developmental biology and is enthusiastic to engage in research and related graduate education to clarify the mechanisms of tissue differentiation and organogenesis in plants in response to environmental factors and genetic programs by utilizing techniques such as live imaging and omics analysis. The candidate should preferably have the aptitude to actively engage in interdisciplinary research with information science and engineering fields.
  4. A person who is willing to work with Professor Keiji Nakajima and the other professors of the Division of Biological Science, educate graduate students, including international students, and promote cutting-edge scientific researches.

8. Employment conditions

  1. Workdays: Monday through Friday
  2. Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, the end/beginning of the year and the anniversary of the founding of NAIST (October 1st)
  3. Discretionary labor system for professional work

Annual Salary Scheme (determined in accordance with the salary regulations of NAIST)

Commuting and housing allowances, etc. provided in accordance with NAIST Salary Regulations.
